What a relief to hear someone voice my views like this. I would rather be fully present in my increasing decrepitude and do what comes along. Having said that a lot of what I do around playing amateur music would not ever have been on a list because all an enchanting accident. Were I to have had a bucket list, and made it in my mid forties I would have got it so very badly wrong and missed what was actually happening

My husband and I had a bucket list for years, long before social media. It was partly joking and partly a way of keeping some dreams alive. Yes it has become big business but I will keep our bucket list in my head even though I know i will never be able to complete it. It is not the concept that is wrong it is how it has evolved. I will always think of a bucket
