They’re back at last. After a long hot summer of festivals and latterly Algiers, I’m back at my desk and posting points that spark discussions in our FB group - Advantages of Age - BabyBoomers and Beyond. Welcome to our Talking Points.
DJ Norman Jay was happy to discover his 1992 Anti-Nazi t-shirt, and we were happy too. Time to resurrect the Anti-Nazi movement. This is what he says:
‘My highly prized original Anti Nazi t-shirt by #JudyBlame from the Summer of 1992 - am absolutely made up to have found it again and just in time for my #GoodTimesAtHome show on Sunday evening too.’
Me and the lovely 19 year old perfume seller in Algiers. Just back from there where my friend, Ruby and I had a glorious adventure. Lots of laughter, lots of discovery, lots of history and culture. And what a beautiful location on the Mediterranean. This was the casbah. We spent a lot of time in the casbah.
We loved this. John Gunn is 90 and isn't talking about retiring. He runs a camera shop in Dublin. And film is back in vogue. In the Irish Independent.

6. We can’t help admiring the legacy of engineer and artist, Planet Gayle created by her daughter. ‘Planet Gayle" refers to the life story and persona of Gayle Noble, a pioneering female engineer and eccentric artist who dedicated her life to acts of kindness and self-expression, as shared by her daughter on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Her daughter created the "Planet Gayle" narrative to celebrate her mother's unique life, sharing her story to inspire others to embrace their true selves, be kind, and "stay weird".’
