What do you do?
I help people with too many ideas turn them into books and businesses instead of anxiety. I also write business books with deeply problematic titles.
Tell us what it’s like to be your age?
I’m the happiest I’ve ever been
What do you have now that you didn’t have at 25?
I like myself – which is a wonderful place to be. Shame it took 60 years to get here.
What about sex?
If you insist.
And relationships?
Choosing the right person makes a lot of difference.
How free do you feel?
Very. Though a spare million in the bank wouldn’t hurt.
What are you proud of?
My books, and the thousands of people I’ve helped over the last 20 years to start things.
What keeps you inspired?
Conversations with interesting people, reading real books, and getting AI to build me apps at midnight when I should really be asleep.
When are you happiest?
When I’ve created something cool and I’m feeling proud of it.
And where does your creativity go?
Writing books, creating online programmes, public speaking, and posting things on Facebook that get me into trouble
What’s your philosophy of living?
I want to have the richest life possible – rich in experience
And dying?
I’m against it.
Are you still dreaming?
Yes. Bigger than at 30, weirdly.
What was a recent outrageous action of yours?
Celebrated my 60th at Day of the Dead in Mexico City. Crossing that threshold surround by dancing skulls tickled me.
